This BOMBing thing is kind of fun!
Installed my Edge EZ box earlier today and thought I'd post some thoughts/results and hope others do too.
The EZ install was easy once I found the two connectors (Aaron @ Edge was very helpful in assisting in locating things and talking about how things work)
Performance results are as follows:
1) Engine sounds quieter at idle and mid-range (neighbors noticed this too!); less Klack, Klack noise.
2) The exhaust smelled less of sulfer.
3) Around town and slowly getting on the highway needed a lot less pedal.
4) At the 1500 rpm mark, this box kicks in and, Wow! A lot more acceleration & torque in the mid-range. Running up a 6% or so grade (Waldo Grade) North of the Golden Gate Bridge resulted in at least 15 more mph -- I hit 85 and needed to back off around a curve. Slowed down behind a 2001 Ram in a little traffic on this grade and stomped on it and got a "huh?" look as the engine kicked in and I passed him. Also, up this grade, needed a lot less pedal too.
QUESTIONS TO THOSE OUT THERE WITH THE EZ BOX:
a) What kind of fuel mileage improvement did any of you see while not stomping on it? (I've kept fill-up to fill-up results of this beast since adoption and my best going 80 down the freeway from SF to LA is about 17)
b) What would you bomb next to save face against a friend who's getting a GM Duramax condom?
Sorry about the lengthy post, but this extra power thing is way too cool.

1999 2500 Quad SLT, 4x4, Auto, SWB, white with Agate leather interior, all options except fog lights. Very happy with the changed 4. 10 gears to 3. 55. 285/75 tires. Towing a '96 21ft Boston Whaler Outrage with 225 hp Johnson and galv. TT. Getting ready to BOMB because the Dodge is a little doggy towing the Whaler and my big Asian butt. Bomb run #1, Edge EZ box. Next???
