My name is Joe and I'm almost a bombaholic #ad

I know I'm not really a bombaholic because I cannot think of more than a dozen, maybe fifteen, bombing products that my Ram "needs" . . in addition to what it already has.

My Ram solutions [kinda like resolutions, but more satisfying to keep] for next year include:
1. I will not let my Ram have any drugs. Pure, clean #2 Diesel only #ad
But it can have all of the fuel it wants #ad

2. I will not change the clutch more than onceXXX, twiceXXX, uhhh, three times next year.
3. I will not add more than one bombing product weekly. Unless it really needs it.
4. Are nitrous and propane considered drugs next year?
5. I will not try to humiliate any Brand C or Brand F trucks . . . more than they deserve #ad

6. I will keep to the speed limit while towing up 8% grades (no faster, next year, I promise) #ad

7. I will tell the truth about my Ram's fuel mileage. . . so long as I can have some "round-off error. " #ad

Okay, I'm in. My name is Scott and I am a Bombaholic. I found this site and signed up because I've never owned a diesel before and wanted to learn more about the engine. Then I started to read posts about the then new PE box with a hot #3 setting. I ordered one from HVAC(Nowel) before the truck came in. Then I started to read about the EZ box and also ordered one from HVAC. I installed the EZ and could not believe the power increase. This satisfied me for about 1 month. I knew that if I installed my HOT PE, the clutch would say bye bye. So I started saving for a clutch. Then I figure, the EZ alone wont hurt the clutch, how about a set of injectors, you know, to help out that fuel pump. Now I'am going to put in the injectors and still save for the clutch. I know I also need a 4" exhaust to keep the EGT's down. Man, those oversized turbo's look like the ticket. Also, maybe I need to upgrade my fuel lines. HELP !!!! Is there a cure for this illness ? If I never found this site my wallet would be richer and my diesel knowledge would be lacking. I am sure that I would have been very happy with the stock ETH power stock. But, in the end, I gained knowledge and HP from only one mouse click.

Gary, you won't find any goats around here for two reasons: I prefer the Olds 442 to the GTO; and I am on the side of the sheep (male, that is, Rams). #ad
So you overelectroned overvalved ones who got cheated out of 5 of your valve covers have a long ways to go, even if you can zap that very trying little pump into delivering "enough" fuel. Buzz those little valves hard as you can. We have REAL enemies to watch, as I found out going through the link to dieselpage's battle zone. Man, those Chebby guys don't have a clue. To reuse a phrase from the 60's, they are having a bad trip #ad

1) I vow to resist the temptation to decommission the electronics on the "Red Rocket" in favor of the more likely BOMB pump, the venerable P7100.

2) I vow to reach the 700 horsepower mark next year, weather I need to or not! #ad


3) I vow to convert to the "Slid'n Glide" auto sporatic transmushin' in order to lower 1/4 mile E/T's and not spill my coffee.

4) I vow to resist the temptation to twin turbo in an effort to prove the worthiness of a good single huffer.

6) I vow to use drugs only when absolutely necessary to defeat the most obnoxious gasser pigs!

Hello,
I too am a BOMBAHOLIC and have been since meeting and riding in MR. HVAC's truck. see you all in CA around the end of JAN

My resolutions this year:

1) Spend more time on this website and less time trying to make money.

2) Finally get my clutch replaced so I can turn my PE back on. Joe, did you get my email?

3) Get the Green Monster certified over 400hp at the ground. still trying to be conservative to save the drive train...

4) Finish getting the AMSOIL installed everywhere.

5) I promise look at my EGT gauge but will continue to race anything up a steep hill, especially once the stock clutch is replaced... Joe, did you get my email?

6) And finally, get these dinky stock tires replaced with something suitable!!

Naturally none of this will happen if the economy continues to go south... .
