I have come to admit my addiction. This realization came about as I was on the phone with a loan officer, who proceeded to inform me that I had been approved for a $5000 loan. 90% of this loan will go towards the following:

-SBC, Con OFE

-PDR 40

-4" exhaust

-BD exhaust brake

-Formula 1 Mach 2 EDM injectors

The rest will go to finish paying for the PE Comp, gauges, and aFe Mega Cannon. I am thankful for you all, and the knowledge that I am not alone in facing this addiction.

Hi, my names Dean... and I bomb 3 days a week depending on money :D . Admitting you have a problem is the first step, unfortunately I don't think it will help this addiction:( .

Ah man..... another one bites the dust!!:D :D :D Welcome, according to my wife I must be the "ring leader" and guilty of sniffing to much overly fueled CTD's. Gall' darn its a bad addiction!!

TA, heck you know you wont be happy at the power level you have written out, go for some bigger showerheads the first go round. Then you have worked out all the "cheap" power out of your rig, then comes drugs... . twins..... the real expensive stuff which might make you "stay content" a little longer. :D :D :D

Listen to me, I must have missed a week or two of D. A. A. (Diesel addicts annoyomous) I dont have a problem I swere, I can stop whenever I want  :D

My name is Jerry and I am a mod-a-holic.

I began as a young man. My uncle used to let me take hits of spilled diesel from his shop rags. Back then, the stuff was low cetane though, a lot different than the hybrid fuel of today.

I ignored the shop teachers. While my friends went for edelbrock and double pumpers, all I could think about was a fat turbo and honed injectors.

They told me Daggenheims and Wakashaws were gateway diesels, but I would not listen.

Now, I live one day at a time. I fight the urge to call Piers for the bigger turbo every day. I have been mod-free for almost two weeks now. My wife is happier about things. I hope she didn't notice that I have begun to stalk the furnace repair mans truck though.

All the guys at work think I am strange because I have a bumper sticker that reads, "GOT OTTO?".

My sponsor told me that the CTD in the driveway needs to go.

The final step in healing for me will be to buy a Kia Sorrento and never look back. The probelm is, everytime I look at one... I find myself at the VW dealer checking out TDI's, thinking... "Maybe she wont know it is a diesel".

I got it bad.

I sold my Camaro and my Thunderbird for this truck so I wouldn't spend money on modifing vehicles anymore...

Heh... I should have known that once you are bitten by the mod bug, you can never stop.

Hi my name is Kevin and I am a bombaholic too, I have it so bad that the wife has to put a drop of diesel fuel behind her ears to get my attention. I am looking foward to thearpy for this diesese and hope the TDR folks can rid me of this terrible infectious diese befor I loose all control over my life.

Cheers, Kevin

I'm not a BOMBer, I'm a 5th wheel RV puller. Everything I've done to my truck has been done only to make it a better tow vehicle. Of course, my wife sorta brought it all home after my last BOMB, er, improvement (the South Bend Con OFE clutch) when she said, "You know, for all the money you've put in this thing, you should have gone ahead and bought the Peterbilt 330 to begin with!"

Well, come to think about it, maybe I am a BOMBer after all. As an RV puller, I think my truck is going to be lucky to get 10K miles on the rear tires now. :(

Unfotunately, I live in Las Vegas and just bought a CTD. The word on the street is there is a BOMB pusher (Diesel Dynamics) right down the road. God help me. :D

Lama (Huggie Bear)

My wallet is glad I don't live that close. My wife has been breathing heavy allot lately (not from me), money missing out of my wallet and I found BDIII injector's hidden between the mattress. Should this be a suddle warning sign or do I just love her so much I am blinded? :D :D :D

Dan, I drive a POS dodge van with a 3. 9L V6 and load with lots of paper a real slow one,but I still have a need for speed and power. Eric

Withdrawal Symptoms

Man, This cold turkey stuff is for the birds. My 04 or is it now a 04. 5 has been on order for over a month. Sold my mildly bombed 01 and watched it roll out the drive last week Thursday, at 9:16 PM EST. I swear it picked up an extra 10 ft-lbs as it pulled away. It sounded sooooo goood as she left me. I have been feeling sick ever since.

I can't wait for my 04 to show up some time next year so I can get my daily injections of fuel. This loaner car from Dealer is not cutting it. If the dealer had any Cummings on the lot, I would be there test driving one every other day until mine shows up.

I guess if you have to quite, go cold turkey and spent a little more quality time with the wife.

Jetpilot, if your truck is stock with those numbers then I think I got screwed on my truck cause I don't have anywhere near those numbers. :p I too have a mild case of the sickness. I only have gages right now. It's taking every ounce of will power I have to not order a box or injectors for my truck. The little figure on the left shoulder keeps telling me "You can stop. You don't need the extra power. The truck does fine without it. Nah you don't need it. " But then the figure on the other shoulder says, "Hey wait. That guy in the ricer definitely needs a smoke bath, and you're a puss if you let (insert name)'s Phurd out tow you. " I don't know what to do! :{
