Bombing a Deutz

Has anyone bombed a Deutz? Either on a tractor or one swapped into a truck?

I have chance to get my hands a 100 horse tractor and was thinking about hotrodding it a little. Anyone?

The kings of BOMBing Deutz engines are Stauffer Diesel in Ephrata, PA.

They ran multi-turboes on their 8006-based, Deutz tractor-pull tractors back in the late '70s. Still do Deutz work... mainly gen-sets, I think.

Give me a model and serial number, I know some people that might help.

tgee I think it is a 913 or 914 air cooled but not sure. I won't know for a couple of weeks. Tractor is at father inlaws and I won't be able to get a hold of him till then.

I've seen the little Deutz on this page run quite a few times. I gotta say - I'm very impressed with how they run compared to the red and green tractors that everyone else runs.
