I've searched for this question, but couldn't find anything on it. With a new truck that should be here next week, I'm coming up with a BOMBing plan and I'm a wee bit curious.
Given that BOMBing causes you to upgrade/break other parts (like the clutch, lift pump, etc. ), at what point does the truck frame become the weak link?
Does putting 150-200% over stock horsepower to the ground shorten the service life of the truck frame?
I can have just about anything else fixed, but the frame is a little integral to the truck to be messing with.
It may seems like a silly question, but I wouldn't have bought a diesel if I didn't plan to run it 200K-300K miles.
