I haven't yet bombed my '03, but the dealer warned me that BOMBING my '03 will void the Cummins warranty. He claims it is all spelled out in both Dodge and Cummins warranty.

He also said that last year alone at his dealership two claims were denied for that reason. He said in both cases the exhaust manifold was overtemped and damaged after the trucks were bombed. In both cases the owners were not running pyrometers.

what is this transmission kit you speak of in your signature. i am looking at the ez for my 03 they claim 70hp. my ques. is how do it feel in the seat o pants meter?

I haven't installed the EZ yet. On advice from thier local retailer I'm waiting for a couple of months until the "bugs" are worked out of the chip.

In my '99 the improvement was amazing. Smoked a bunch of people off the line that thought diesels were slow. Once you bomb you can never go back.

The H. O. and 6 speed is a great combo for pulling a big load. That is what I bought mine for. It is not a good hot rod because of the number of gears and close spacing. I want more power to go up the hills faster :D

Yes they will void your warrenty if you up the power. Some dealers are more agresive than others when it comes to power mods though. And don't think it is limited to just the engine warrenty that they will deny. The Magnoaum-Moss(sp) act might say they can't without proof but not many pepole have the time and money to fight it if they deny warrenty coverage.
