Boost adjustment with Plate Kit

Would there ever be a reason to adjust the allen screw in the boost elbow that came with TST kit?



Added the #11 with plate about in center. Get 30 - 35 lbs boost but plenty of egts and some smoke even with full boost from 2000 rpms on up.



I installed Medium spring with AFC spring kit. Have had to back it off almost to the middle. Locamotive type smoke when it was full rich (all the way forward or towards the engine).



This is on a 96 5sp with no cat.

If you are getting up to 35lbs of boost you won't need to go with any more boost as you are not getting the fuel with you're setup to make use of it.
