I swamp them out and I'm losing boost now.

To tell you the truth I gained about 50 psi when I swaped mine. But I was keeping this little secret under my hat. Or was that . 50 psi? who cares its still faster than a 5. 0

Generally speaking, the Left intercooler boot flows air more liberally than a Right boot that is a little more conservative. Swapping the boots can lead to discontent between the boot's constituents..... Leave then alone and keep the Peace...

So what about a center boot maby a green party one? It could blow more hot air than bolth the left and the right and still get nothing done.

Actually the green party boot is the left most boot you can buy... . only for extreme applications... ... Most people use the moderate boot, it seems to do best for a variety of applications.

I figured it out, Drivers side boot arrow was pointed towards the cooler causing resistants to air flow, I turned it around and regained my boost. Just an process improvement FYI: I drew a little bow on the windshield to reminded me which way the arrow goes.

I dont think that porting alone will get you what your looking for ..... I have a compound that I could give you that would polish it out really nice. Now that would give you some raw HP!
