I see that Snow Performance have a Water/methanol injection system called the Boost Cooler. Just wondering what this is and how it works??

Is it just plain water or is something mixed with it??

Does it help EGTs??

Is it injected right into the intake or where??

Thanks in advance!!!!!

It's usually a mix of water and methanol.

It lowers EGT's and also delivers some extra power.

An atomized mixture is injected into the intake piping.

Where do you get that mix? does it come in a bottle?? How expensive is it??

It had a small picture of it in the mag but couldn't see everything but it looked like it is just supplied by a lil electric pump.

Looks like something that could be built from scratch is what i'm thinking.

Probbly has some metering valves, but can't be much to it!!

Anymore info is great!!!!!! What do you think of idea!!!

Went to their web site and found a bigger pic. Wonder what the eltrical box is and does??

What turns it on?? a certain boost pressure? certain EGT's turn it on or is it manual??

Anybody have one would love to hear from you!!!

You can use windshield washer fluid. Or you can buy regular methanol and mix your own batches. Often mixed at 50/50.

The nozzles come in the kit. The Stage 3 kit controls the pump according to EGT temp/boost pressure.
