Boost?EGT Gauge Wiring

Just received my gauges in the mail... understand most everything but how to wire the lights... . I believe than Evan mentioned in an earlier post that you can tie in to an orange wire under the dash... where is the best place and can I attach both gauges wire to the same one or to each other... also where is a good source for a ground ?

The orange wire is the one you want to tie into if you want to dim the lights and not use the fuse tap method. It is located under the dash in various places. Various places you say? Well, I have done 4 different trucks, and the wire is in a different place on each one! Go figure... If you don't want to dim the gauges, just tie into the parking light wire, which is BLACK with a YELLOW tracer. Again, this one is under the dash. #ad
As for a ground, just pick a place where other ground wires are connected. #ad

Like Evan say's use the orange wire (small #22 awg). The easiest place to get it is to remove the ashtray light (unplug it from it's wiring harness), splice your two wires from your gauge lights one to the orange and one to the orange/blk wire and yes you can parallel the gauge lights together, then replace the ashtray light and plug back into the harness.
