Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Boost elbow/Hose?

I cant get over 20lbs of boost, I have checked all the booties. I use the stock hose between the elbow and wastgate and it have a little kink in it, should I cut the hose for a better fit?

the best i can tell ya is with my comp on 1 and when i was running 275 injectors i believe that 20-25psi was fairly common? as far as that kink in ur hose that wont hurt anything, with the elbow ur waste gate wont open till 35psi+- any ways so its not doing anything at 20psi. come on guys, there enough of u out there running this combo to give some good info on the subject, "help a brother out"

Check all the hoses between the air horn and the turbo... I bet one is leaking. The two hoses on the intercooler have been know to rub on the fender and get a little cut on them. If you have not done it in a while its also a good idea to tighten up all the clamps as they have a tendancy to come loose.
