Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Boost elbow only

I have a 2001 h/o 6 spd. I understand that this engine is prone to high E. G. Ts that i plan to confirm with the installation of an E. G. T gauge. My question is would the installation of a boost elbow with no box help the high E. G. T problem? Thanks in advance

You need a boost module of some type or you'll set off a code in your ECM for a over boost.

Yup you cant do one with out the other. You need both elbow and module.
