it limits the amount of air to the wastegate, so it does not open as fast and opens later at a higher boost level...



Effects are lower EGT, but NO MORE POWER... because fuel makes power, not boost



Bottom line is if your EGTS are a bit high. try the elbow and see what you think



The turbo will sound better in my opinion
