i have read where there is a place on the 24 valve for the boost fitting it said it is in the intake . i just cant find it. is it towards the front, middle, or the rear ,on top, or side?i have it now teed into the wastegate fitting on the turbocharger. . i also have my boost elbow on that tee. i would like to do away with the tee and run my boost tee somewhere else and have my boost elbow by it self just running to the wastgate thanks

Go with Piers

I used the plug in the back at first. Gauge pulsed! Go with the Piers replacement bolt. Snoking

The one piers sells is a simple and easy way to tap into a place for the boost gauge.

The hole your looking for is on the drivers side rearward of the fuel filter houseing toward firewall, it is a huge chrome plated plug with a spuare in the center for 1/2 socket wrench if I remember correctly. Use an extension to get at it. After removeing take it down to a good hardware store or plumbing depot and have it reduced down to the fitting you already have and your set to go.

Most do not like using this spot because as stated earlier it causes the guage to rattle. I like this because when I am towing it lets me know when I am useing alot of boost and hence fuel or how hard it is towing going up hills. Mine does not rattle until i reach about 24 lbs of boost, or if boost rises rapidly it will start at about 18-20 lbs of boost.

The boost gauge i just purchased from geno's had a tapped replacement bolt that screws into the intake . the bolt i removed had a 10mm head and was on top of the intake holding a cover on
