There was a thread a while back that said they used the plug by the MAPS for their boost gage hose. I can't seem to locate it (the thread). Is this the plug that is between the MAPS and the IAT sensor? Or is it the one to the left of the MAPS? This sounded like an easy way to locate the fitting, but I need to make sure its correct and that I read the thread correctly.

Boost Gauge Hookup .

3/4" NPT to 1/8" bushings do exist so only one fitting is necessary between the engine and the pipe-thread-to-hose-barb fitting.

I tapped the back side of the air horn and installed a pipe-thread-to-hose-barb fitting.

thanks

Thanks everyone for the response. Appreciate the clarification. If I'd known it was this easy, it would have been done when I installed the other two gages. I didn't want to drill out anything if at all possible. Will get reducer tomorrow.

I'm going to be adding a post intercooler boost gauge next weekend but I opted for the Piers adapter. Anyone tried this route?

azcummins, I went with the Piers adapter. Install was as simple as could be. Just unscrew the one bolt and replace it with the adapter. I keep the stock bolt in my truck in case my boost hose to the gauge would ever get a cut in it.
