I just installed a set of Autometer Factory Match Gauges and love them with one exception. The boost gauge is fluttering when I get on it hard. What causes this? We tried two different holes, one up front and then moved it to the back and still have the fluttering. Bad gauge?

Thanks guys. I'm new to all this.

Greg.

Have you tried to install a snubber in the line? Its just a fitting with a small hole through it it dampen the reading, you can get then at an auto prats store

I have the same gauge and mine also fluttered above 10 psi. I had it hooked to a boost bolt and threaded into the lower manifold. I drilled and tapped my CFM, hooked the line into the CFM and no more fluttering.
