Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) boost gauge for fuel pressure

I have a grainger generic fuel pressure gauge right now and would like to get an Autometer gauge to match the rest. Problem is autometer does not offer a 0-60 gauge in their Phantom line. I am not real fond of the resolution on the 0-100 psi gauge so I am wondering if I could run a 0-60 psi boost gauge for the fuel pressure. Autometer will not say it will work but I am all but convinced all their pressure gauges are the same with just a different label on the face.



Any opinions?

The only things I can think of are: fuel may try to enter the gauge, which was built to measure slowly rising/falling dry air pressure - you'll possibly need an isolator. Fuel pressure from the lift pump is pulsatile, so the gauge may flutter - you may need an accumulator to even out the reading. Others may have tried this and had success so I defer to any dissentions

I already have a needle valve to dampen the pulses and it does a pretty good job. I guess the general concensus (from this list and the others) is exactly what I thought pressure is pressure.
