Where is the best place to place the boost sensor? Do I have to bore a hole in the input manifold or is there a place you can just plug it in someplace. I have a 2004. 5 3500 4x4 Ram pickup. please advise

1) boost bolt that replaces a manifold bolt

2) drill and tap the intake horn

PS - I have an extra boost bolt, OR order it from I think DTT and piers has them

PPS- you mean a mechanical boost guage right? There really is no "sensor" that I know of

Being a machinist, I'm comfortable with drilling and tapping. My boost is coming right off of the top of the intake horn :D

With the boost bolt it is a simple 10 min install under the hood. I put mine on the pillar and the whole install took maybe an hour, with double checking everything, (wiring, boost leaks, fitment)

I would say the boost bolt it about the easiest way to go, easily. There's a thread on here about where you can put it in. Also, depending on where you order it, mine came with color pics showing the easiest install spot, simple pull out and replace.
