Installed an Autometer boost & pyrometer and everything is good. Took a trip over the grapevine on Hwy 5 and while pulling the hill with a small trailer, the boost gauge needle will flutter about 3 lbs worth at any boost above 14-15 lbs. Up to now had not had any sustained boost of more than 10-11 lbs, so I don't know if this is a new issue or just haden't been observed yet. Any ideas of why and how to fix it? Thanks.

what you see is normal. auto meter has a snubber for the fuel pressor gauge that will take most of it out. several years ago i switched to glycerine filled gauges, they are about $20 available at ww granger and do not flutter

We were asking about boost guage flutter, not fuel pressure gauge flutter.
