I've known of several people who have done it. You will mess up any gauge though if you don't use a snubber to dampen the pulsations, plus the gauge will move so much you can't get a reading. This is just the nature of the 12 valve lift pump. The adaptors that TST sells that bush the fuel filter bleed screw to 1/8" pipe thread will double as a snubber as will a needle valve. Diesel fuel will not harm your boost gauge nor tubing.
