boost guage

do i have to drill and tap for a boost guage. What is the best place. I have a 05.

Get a boost bolt - a "tapped intake manifold bolt. " Goes in place of intake manifold bolt. Hollow bolt that has threads on top to screw in barbed fitting and line to lead to boost gauge. Geno's, Piers, etc has them.

Yes, go with the boost bolt. A bit more spendy than drilling and threading a hole but a whole bunch cleaner looking and easier to get done. I just did this last night and I am glad I went with the boost bolt after looking at the finished job.
