Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Boost hose from elbow to actuator

Sorry for such a basic question. I'm installing a new hx35 onto my 01 auto. The new turbo has a banded clamp that I need to cut off. The existing hose will be a little too short with the adjustable elbow I'm also installing. I'll need to replace this hose and add some worm style clamps. Do I need some special kind of hose? Will heavy wall vacuum hose work?

You need a pressure hose, not a vacuum one. And needs to be high temp.

When I ran a PDR35-12W AKA custom HX35, I installed the taped bolt in the intake cover and ran silicon host across the top of the motor and had an Edge Comp in EZ mode(that is pump was not tapped). If you are going to run higher boost, you need a boost fool'er box of some sort.
