You can make an adapter using your intake tube and a 4" pvc cap. Install an air chuck into the pvc cap, hose clamp it into the end of your intake tube, the other end is still attached to your turbo. Put 20/30 lbs of air to it, should find any leak if there is one.

JJ, The test worked just fine! No leaks found! I did discover a small exhaust leak as I spotted a faint spot of carbon deposit on the manifold. I suspect this to be the cause of the noise. I'll let you know if it goes away after the gasket replacement. Thanks again.

JJ Thanks again for the easy test. The exhaust manifold leak was the cause of the squealing noise ! Sure sounded like a belt tensioner or intercooler leak.

I had a manifold leak in my previous cummins but it sounded just like a manifold leak not a belt squeal. Anyone reading this thread keep that in mind as a possible cause.

Look real close and then feel for it with your fingers as it was hardly noticible.

Thanks again JJ as it was during this test procedure that I spotted a small carbon area around the exhaust manifold that peaked my interest.
