would I get anything by adding a boost module and elbow without getting a fueling box?? wouldnt that allow me to get more boost which would mean more power, or am I completely wrong on that?

I believe that you need to add more fuel into the mix for more power, don't think a boost module alone, without a fueling enhancement will add much if anything.

Probably do a little bit of good. Without a box or injectors I suspect you won't have enough fuel to get the boost you want.

boost module

if i understand things correctly, even if you could get more boost, the ECM would defuel the engine????which would defeat the purpose of more boost??

The boost module will allow the engine to continue full fueling (stock level) past where the defueling normally begins (20 PSI). It would not cut the fuel back at 20 PSI automatically. There would be some gain in the upper RPM, but probably not a lot. I have never heard of someone dyno testing with just a boost module either.

Mike,

Your title "boost module, elbow and injectors" might suggest you have injectors already since you didn't mention them in your post. If that is the case addition of a boost elbow and a boost module would definately help.

I have a PS box with elbow (22) plug, VA box, 275 injectors and a valve body. I am very pleased with this setup. I pull a 14,000lb 5th wheel and love the acceleration when empty. Since I have an auto this is about all that I think the trans can take and still have a good long life. Since you have the 6 speed your options are better since you only have a clutch to worry about.
