boost numbers for my truck

i will install my boost guage as soon as it gets here from genos.



i searched and what i found was that i can expect boost to be 3-5# at 60mph. and 6-10# at 70mph.



are there any other bench marks? say wot?

If your wastegate is opening correctly, you should only get about 19#. With the wastegate plugged, you should get around 31# or so, these are wot #. I see you have a tst plate in your truck, so yours will be different from mine seeing as how you have the boost elbow. These are the # I got with my truck, and I have eveything stock, just slid forward a bit. Just my $. 02

I'm assuming that you have installed a boost elbow with the TST plate. WOT should be 32 - 34 psi. Your other numbers look OK.

I can touch 39psi, Too High?

I wouldn't think it would be too high. I think the intercooler is tested at 50, and I really doubt you would blow any gaskets with 39.

I think your boost should be around 30psi,with the elbow installed.
