Starting to put the Twin Turbos in tonight. PDR's HT3B+HX40 setup. Running PMCR. What boost numbers should I see? Am I going to blow up my 60lb gauge? Who sells one that goes higher?

Fire-ringed and head gasket upgrade; studs also upgraded.

Entering the twilight zone... .

Nice keep us posted. Looking at the pdr twins myself. Not sure because I have never taken the gauge that high :-laf ,but I think my x-mon goes past 60.

Looked back in the Competition forum where I was bouncing questions off those guys back when I was first looking at taking the plunge. Looks like the 100's are possible for boost -- depending on wastegate settings of-course. Wondering if anyone has firsthand experience though. I'm also looking for a mechanical gauge that'll handle 120 to 150 lbs of boost. Not planning on pegging it that high; figure I'll wastegate to no more then 80 -- but if it bounces up there I want to know about it.

The guys at the Diesel Thunder Dino were seeing 65 -75 lbs if I'm not mistaken. Both 3rd gens put out over 500HP one at 507 and the other with big injectors put out 550HP both on stock 48RE autos. Piers truck ran the box at 7-7 I am not sure about the other guys setting. Neither truck seem to run the High Pressure pump dry over 500HP Piers wish he had tried the 9-9 setting!

The truck becomes very fast with twins I wish I could have a set..... lucky devil.

BTW I like how Piers twins are set up keep us posted on your boost numbers and don't blow your head gasket exercise some restraint. ;)
