Boost orfice on a 94'

I have a friend W/ a 94 he has the stock plate slid all the way foward I was wondering if the orfice would help and if so where does it go it's not like mine it has the original turbo and it's an auto

Plate all the way forward?

Hope he has gauges.

Assuming he has the wastegated housing (like I do) why dont he just shorten the arm on the wastegate?

I went from 28 psi to 39 that way.

That sounds like a good idea how much should he shorten it?

Well, I dunno. I shortened it about 1/2", and had to make it a bit longer because it wouldnt bolt back on. It was too short.

A little = a lot of boost.
