I have had my truck in twice in the last two weeks. My problem is the transmission temp is getting up around 170-200 in town it cools off when on the interstate, boost is around 8-10 running 70 and empty. A couple of weeks ago it took a lot of pedal to get the truck to move along with some manual shifting. I took the batteries of for a day did the go pedal trick and it got some what better. Still felt like there was some resistance on it. .
Last week they told me it was the TC not locking up,today they said they found a relay that was not installed but laying in the fuse box under the hood and that they put it back in and that cured the problem. Now when I left the shop the RPM's were fine but the boost is still up as well as the temp, engine temp is fine. It still feels like the TC is not locking up. Any ides as to what is going on? By the way this all all started after the transmission down shifted when I passed a guy doing about 60 mph. the next time I stopped it took about 2400 rpm's to get the truck to move. Are my numbers off ??
