Without getting into my disdain for Quad and the XZT gauges that I bought from them, I am trying to elicit some help on a problem developed recently with my boost pressures. Any time that I have my pac brake engaged whether it be idling or de-celerating, my boost gauge bounces all over the place from 0-65 psi. (My fuel pressure does this sometimes too and in the past it has been the sending unit - I am on #4. )

Anyway, I was just wondering if it may be my MAP sensor as the gauge is wired into it, or if maybe the gauge is screwed up.

Any ideas?

You getting any codes? Mine was doing this kind of thing and my ground to the battery was not good. I had all kinds of codes though!!! Have you tried unplugging it and reconnecting sometimes this like resets the Quad and things start working. All I can think of at the moment hope something helps.

I have no codes, but I'll pull the plug and see if that helps. I need to just bite the bullet and buy some real gauges. Or go old school and run with none!

Old school not a good idea but whatever works for you. I for sure would at least have fuel pressure. With your truck I not sure how you could run old school. To easy to lose all you have invested!!! Only you can make that decision nobody on this site can for you.

I had the same problem... boost gauge bounced full scale. I've got a Banks Power Pak with their gauges. After checking out the Banks stuff... it checked out OK... I replaced the MAP sensor and that took care of the problem.
