TPS cost?

TST/Crazy Larry or Hot Edge/Crazy Larry? Anyone tried both?

What should the boost pressure run on an unmodified CTD? I just finished installing a Westach combo gauge and the boost pressure is running 2-3 at 55 MPH. When I romp on it the boost goes up to 20-25. Are these reasonable numbers or do I have a (installation) problem.

you should be able to get to the low 30's stock on the 600 engines. the 555 engines the WG is set at 23-24psi so they will run around 25-27psi max under load at engine speeds getting to +2500rpm

I just put my combo gauge on this weekend. I also get spikes of roughly 30-32psi and then it settles to 28psi, so I would say normal. Cruise also around 2-3 psi. This is also unloaded, it will change when pulling something around other than just me :)

What it mean if I'm only seeing spikes of 30psi and settling to 28? Boost Leak, guage calibration issue? Any thoughts?

You truck is producing the same numbers my 2005 is, I think you are right on the money and nothing is wrong with yor gauges.

I have the ISSPRO gauges and they are reading the same numbers you are getting.

I have a X-Monitor on my stock CTD. It stores the highest reading so you can look at it later. My highest never goes above 34 and it must be a spike since it's rare to actually see more than 30 or so on the gauge and that's towing heavy up a long hill. If you don't have a load in tow I'd say your pressures are normal.

I was just about to ask this same question. Just installed gauges and noticed the boost would shoot up to around 33 then drop down to about 25-28 or so without any throttle change. Sounds like it's normal. Just not used to this after driving my '01 for 6 years. Turbo seems very responsive with everything on the truck stock so far.
