Boost Pressure

I'm getting a new truck in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know what the maximum boost pressure might be on a stock High Output Cummins engine? I don't think I want a 60psi gauge if the boost never goes over 30psi. Thanks, Don

~25-26psi stock.

a 30 psi boost gauge will be sufficient if you just want to

moniter turbo boost. but if you have an exhaust brake and

want to read back pressure on the same gauge, I would get

the 60 psi gauge. I have an 03 HO 6 spd. with a Pac brake

and I put a tee in line w/ 2 check balls so I can use my boost

gauge for both turbo boost and ebrake back pressure.
