after installing the comp, i left the stock boost elbow just because of lack of time to install the aftermarket elbow that came with the comp. i was building about 26 psi with the stock elbow. once i replaced it with the aftermarket elbow, i can only build 13. i have checked for leaks multiple times, and replaced the hoses, and still can only build 13 psi max. friends of mine with similar setups are building 30+. Any help i could get would be greatly appreciated.

boost problems

Yes mine with the boost fooler and 300 injectors is only giving me 20 lbs boost and that is on a hard pull. Come to think about it, mine gave me 14 lbs boost for awhile before and for a long time after the vp44 was replaced. Hope this isn't a harvinjure of things to come for you.

You've probably already re-checked your clamps. Does the aftermarket elbow have a small allen screw? If so, it may need to be adjusted (outward, I think). If your boost line is tapped into your intake horn, like mine is, then its possible to accidently damage the gauge line while you are installing the Comp map sensor. You should be seeing a lot of smoke and heat if you are only getting 13 psi.

yeah, clamps are good, and my egt's are normal. it does smoke, but not excessively, and not anymore than other guys running the comp. the aftermarket elbow does have a much smaller orfice than the stock, but no allen screw
