Ok i have check everythimg from the turbo to the intake, also pressurized the system there was two small leak, I don't think that it would lose 4# of boost from the two leaks. It held 20# of air for 15 minutes and never droped. does anybody have any other ideas. Help please it is driving me nutts.
 
Have you checked fuel pressure & volume? Getting full throttle travel?
No air intake restrictions?
Turbo's in good shape?
Timing hasn't slipped?

I've got good fuel pressure and volume,20# at idle 30# at 1800 32# under full boost, have not check timming do not know how to, I've got full thortle. Took test drive last knight seems to spool up real fast and hold pressure at 27# then it will fall back to 25#. Before all this came up it used to stay and hold 29 to 30# all the time. Is there a easy way to check the timming, how do you know if the turbo is going bad. thanks
 
Over how long of a period, have you been loosing boost slowly? Mine did the same thing and Joe, Piers and I found that the turbo just had to much clearance. We put a new turbo on and it went from 28# to 36#. Oh yeah we did check for grasshoppers but found none.
 
what is the rpm when boost is falling off?
What rpm does the engine go easily to?
have you checked for other critters, not just grasshoppers #ad

The rpms go right up to 3000 with now prob, then i shift. I took the afc housing all apart again and the cam plate was cock a little, check every thing out again and put it back together. Now the thing screams again, does this make anysense to you guys. That Gov. spring kit realy makes a big differance. Thanks
