I was going down the road the other day and put my pedal to the floor everything was ok at first 34psi boost. Then I let of the pedal and put back down and I only got about 28 psi. So I helled the pedal there and all of a sudden it took of back to 34 psi. Just like the waste gate was opened for a second then closed. The only code I get is a 234 over boost code. This has been happening of and on lately. Could it be a bad map sensor? I'm open for sugestions.

If you have an ez then I don't understand why you say you are getting an overboost code. Is the EZ plugged into the MAP sensor? If so, sounds like your EZ is bad and the engine is defueling due to the overboost condition.

So are you saying the EZ was off the truck when this happened? If so, then the overboost was caused by the EZ being gone but you must not have taken off the boost elbow, allowing the turbo to build too much boost with no fooler on. With the boost code the ECM defueled the engine.

Really hard to help you with such cryptic and vague descriptions.
