Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Boost sensor failure

Just had the boost sensor die on my 98. 5 at 111K. The engine light would go on, then maybe a day or two or (even a few hours) it was off. The truck was absolutely gutless when it was on. No smoke or anything other than absolutely no power. It took a little while before I could get to Chip @ Blue Chip Diesel. The computer said the sensor was reading 2. 3 volts, way over what it should. He replaced it and we are back to our old selves once again. He said it was also the first one he had seen fail. Leave it to me to break new ground
