ok, I am thinking of making a valet switch with a 90° brass ball valve, some tubing, and other little nick nacks that go with it. . My question, is does anyone sell one already made up, or is it cheaper to go make my own?? I would like to be able to let the boost leak out, then close it up, and surprise some people, as well as not smoke at times, should I get stopped for sooting somewhere... I hope this makes sense. . I have heard of some people using valet switches, and was wondering if this was the same sort of principle... .

If you have access to factory automation type components then you can use something called an "electro-pneumatic regulator" which is a fancy name for an electrically actuated regulator. Get one that runs on 12V and uses a 0-10V adjustable input like SMC Corp P/N ITV2031-31N2BL4. It's expensive (350. 00) but is a factory built unit that will do just what you want.
