Ok,,,, while driving to work tonight I noticed that my boost gauge was hardly registering. I then noticed that the turbo didn't quite sound like it normally does. I gave the truck more pedal than usuall to see if the boost gauge would respond. No change on the gauge and I didn't hear the normal turbo whine that should accompany rapid acceleration.

Turbo problems? Any suggestions for me to look for tomorrow??????

If for some reason your turbo was not making boost... . or the boost was not getting to the engine it would not feel normal. You'd peak at max torque around 1300 rpm and by 2000 it would be gutless. I suspect you have a guage problem. Possibly a pinched tubeing or a problem at the gauge itself. Are the Westach gauges electric or mechanical?

The Westach boost gauge is mechanical. What bothers me is when I tried to accelerate,,, I didn't hear the turbo whine like it normally does. Just a very soft whistle.

Check intercooler clamps/boots to be sure they are still in place. Remove the intake tube and wiggle the compressor shaft in the turbo. It should spin freely with minimal side to side movement and no discernable axial movement. If all this checks out OK I don't see a turbo problem
