Boost

I have an EZ. At one point I had the Waste Gate turned off completely and was able to boost to 32#. Since I have turned it down to around 26# because I am afraid of overheating the turbo (it has already turned brown, pulling the trailer when I was boosting at 32#). Does anyone know if I will gain anything or hurt anything by tightening up the waste gate and going back to 32#. With the warmer temps I am seeing higher EGT's and I am wondering if I get the boost back up if my EGT's will go down some

Your turbo won't overheat from high boost, rather from high egts. Crank it back up. Any more than 35 psi boost will do you little good, it's the point of diminishing returns.
