Off Roading Carli Race Truck?

Competition Nitrous?

is it being done, heal toe? or is there a way to use a line lock on all fours possibly. i have heard some of the stick shift boys just using small amounts of the bottle(nitrous) to help things spool up shift after shift. the bottle must be the most consistant way huh? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks... ... ...

The only way to "load" the engine to build boost on a manual would be the slip the clutch. <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

This is what I've done with my G56 a couple times, just to seat in the new clutch good. :-laf

You can kindof "blip" the throttle to start throwing more fuel at it, while slowly letting out on the clutch.

Also, turning fueling up helps, but especially with increased rail pressure, it's too easy to have the engine overfuel and hang at around 3500 rpm with no throttle input.

I've done it a couple times, but I won't be pushing my luck with it anymore... tires, clutch, input shaft, etc could be expensive.

If running a dual disk clutch I could see doing heal toe and then slipping it a little, but not with a single disc. Just won't last.

I rev it up to 3000 rpm and let it rip!:D

i know ive gotten pretty good at the heal toe thing myself. my 60 ft was in the 1. 8's. but i do plan on going with the line lock at least of the front to help out so that i can concentrate on slipping the clutch.

I've run a few people here and there with my NV5600 truck. 4-HI, foot on the floor on the governor... slip the clutch out. You'll have full boost by the end of 2nd gear.

I know some guys have left slipping more in 3rd, but I've only got a single disk street clutch.

i've also heard of foot on the floor and letting her go in 3rd with the nv5600. never tried it myself but if it would work, that would sure save some time in shifting from 2nd to 3rd.

I was getting pretty good with foot on the floor and letting her slide out in 4th gear 2wd. Worked good on the street. Didn't ever get it to the track. Tires would just start to loose traction as the boost came up. Took off like a rocket! Then there was only 2 gears left! Or use the 3rd gear lauch. 2nd gear is too short.
