Boy those Borealis guys want a first born child and a coupla' appendages for that headlight system!

I like the concept but not the coin! :{

Maybe you guys can show me how to rig up a set of '01 Sport headlights for my 01 ETH, (if they even fit?)

I see those same bulbs and harnesses out of luxury vehicles on ebay all the time, looks loke if you had some time you could build that system yourself.

The sheet metal is identical in the headlamp area for all model year 2001 Rams - remove the non-Sport lamps and transplant the Sport lamps.

Plan on altered wiring to accomodate the added bulbs. Build or buy this wiring before the lamp transplant and the change takes a couple of hours.

I wish they would fit a 1st gen. I hate these headlights.

I wish I had standard sealed beam headlights like the 1st gens! They are simple to replace with the Hella modules that work nearly as well as these projector beams. Only about $70 a side when I replaced the lights on my Cherokee. I like the non DOT approved ones that use the H4 bulb but the Vision plus DOT approved ones are about as good.

I just saw these. I think they look great, but no way can I afford them. If they sold just the housings (and for 2003-up) I'd buy 'em and build my own lights. That might be illegal, though...

On edit: at second glance, you guys are right. The housings are pretty cheap and basic looking. I might even be able to make something like them myself!

Those things look like crap. And cost way to much.

I agree with Cummins Pilot the idea is great but they just look butchered up.

I bought the cheapo lights off of Ebay and have outfitted them with metal halides , just waiting for Brite box to finish custom making a box for me. I will send you some pic's if interested just email me

Unfortunately it does nothing about the real problem of having a really crappy reflector design.

These conversions have been outlawed by DOT and are not to be sold in the US. Also the worst thing you can do is put a metal halide in a stock enclosure that was desinged for halogens
