Borg Warner solenoid

I was contemplating switching out the oem solenoid with the "better" solenoid part #BW 50185 until I get the money together for the DNJ unit. When I was checking fitment of the solenoid onto the bracket I noticed there was play. I've searched and no other posts on this. The space between them could almost use a washer or shim of some sorts. You can actually hear metal rattle if you move them from each other. See pic for area highlighted where gap is. Anyone ever notice this?

Well it was the bracket, it appears to be somewhat warped. Have a DNJ unit on it's way.
