Okay this is the continuation of my on going steering problems. Last episode, we couldn't get the steering wheel to be straight, without off centering the box. So, I repositioned the shaft of the borgenson, and reconnected it one position down from where it was on the connection out of the firewall. NOW, there is a weird feel when steering, like there is a weight causing the wheel to feel like it wants to turn, then gets resistant then easy again? I even had a moment when the steering was just stuck, I couldn't steer at all until I started to move again. What is going on here?

Maybe you should take everything back off and start over, you must have something off center or crossed up somewhere, This install should have went alot smoother. Did you ever adjust the sleeve on the steering shaft that you were asking about in your other post, if so did that straighten your wheel out?? Sounds like you have gone through everything so far, anyway good luck.

Adjusted the sleeve, but now, since inverting the shaft, there is like an off weighted feel in the steering. I'm going to reinstall the original shaft to see if it's the shaft or something else. Check back later.

Old shaft is on, steering wheel and box is straight, I can feel the loose wandering feeling of the old shaft, but I feel better with it this way. Any other suggestions for an after market steering shaft?
