Does anyone besides Borgeson make those couplings for the steering shaft? How about for 2WD?

I just got new lower ball joints on my truck, and noticed that the coupling wasn't tight.

Someone a while back reported that Dana/Spicer now has a shaft assembly available at a much lower cost.

I responded a few days later with a request for a part number if anyone had one, but never received a response.

If anyone knows any more info on this please let us know. Inquiring minds want to know.

:) :) :)

What do you think of that TCI converter?

I nearly ordered one, but after discussing it with TCI's tech department, they pretty much convinced me it wasn't much different from stock.

I wanted something quite a bit tighter.

I just put one in my D350 2WD. Borgeson part # 940. This is for "79-93 Dodge Trucks". I don't know if the 4WD is different from 2WD.

I haven't searched for the post but he has sourced out a supplier for just the joint. .

Its just the U-joint with the splined end for the steering box and the shaft size for the upper rod... You just have to have the joint welded to the upper shaft...

I will dig around for the post.
