Borgeson Is On The Way

Well i ordered me a Borgeson shaft along with a new ragjoint. Any special tricks to getting it on there?

Just be careful removing the old unit from the steering box, I didn't and ended up having to replace the steering box (big oops). Also, the Borgesen unit can go on in any position (unlike the factory unit which can only go on one way), so if you do lift your truck you can straighten out the steering wheel without buying the adjustable dag link.

Haven't done it myself, but the connection on the steering box uses a roll rin. You will have to drive that pin out, and that can damage the seal around the input shaft to the steering box.

If you can brace behind that shaft somehow so your hammer blows don't go 100% against that shaft, you have a good chance of not damaging the seal.

There are lots of ways to accomplish that, you'll have be creative to make something/wedge something in there.
