2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Borgeson steering box with steering box brace

I am getting ready to purchase Borgeson steering box. It is my understanding my steering box stabilizer will not work with a Borgeson steering box. My question is, does anyone know if I can modify my stabilizer by elongating the holes at the bearing, or cutting the bearing tab off and re-welding it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I had a Borgeson on my 07.5 and I had to elongate the bearing holes and bend the tab a bit to get it bolted up on the stabilizer.

You can cut the tab off and move it about 3/8 of an inch to the right. Simple to do.
