Can anyone tell me the difference between the DDIIs and the Bosch 275 injectors? I would like to put in the DDIIs but I see the Bosch 275s used in the classifieds. Getting ready to do my trans (DTT) and they said that they would like for me to have the MODS in so they can set up the trans to my MODS. Chris

DDII's --- more power and more money

check out the DD web site under links

I think they have a dyno chart comparing to 275's

275's :)

DDII's :D

Don't waste time with the 275's, just go with the II's. If you get the 275's you'll just want more so when (not really an *if* with this disease) you get the II's the money you spent on the 275's will be wasted unless you can sell them for what you bought them for.

I've been very happy with my 275's. Most (not all, "most") of the folks I've p-mailed in the past report that they got some improvement in mpg with 275's, no improvement or slight loss in mpg with DDII's. This is from folks who had one and went to the other, so their comparisons should be good.

If you're looking for that mpg "tweak", then the 275's are the only one that make any economic sense, and you'll get some extra power. Some dealers won't question warranty even if they install the 275's, 'cause they come from the manufacturer.

If you're looking for a power upgrade, then you should probably be reading the posts from those who have had DDII's and went up to DDIII's. You might still choose the DDII's, but I just feel like the 275's won't satisfy for long if that is the quest you are on.

HC you hit the nail on the head. I went from 275's to DDIII's. I wasn't looking for better mileage (I lost 2 mpg somewhere:D ). Depending on you engine (ho or not) the 275's give you 40-60 more hp. I believe you will see 20 more with the DDII's. If it is performance you want skip over the II's and put in III's. For mileage go with the 275's.

If your a sensible man and just want a mild power upgrade, 275. HP junkie like the rest of us, DD 2's... ... ..... until the urge kicks in again and you want bigger:D :D

Driving normally, do the DDIIs cost you 2 mpg? I want to run some injectors in conjunction with the EZ. I am not interested in losing 2MPG for a little more power. HEY, WHY CAN'T I HAVE IT ALL????

Chris, Pass on the 275's. DD2's will be great for your set up.

Been there and done it 275's 2's and now 3's

And I have a great friend for injector swaps too.

Motorhead: sounds like you are on the right track with your transmission. So if your main concern is not mileage, then the DDIII'S are alot of fun. that way their's no wondering what your missing. But whatever you choose, it will be better than stock. Boost and Egt gauges are also an important mod with whatever injectors you are going to go with. Have fun!

I have dd2's and they are all I would go for injector they have a little smoke, more on demand if needed and they drive really nice almost to much for bad roads. I personally think any higher hp injector would be to much for daily driving for ME , you can turn boxes on and off but once you have the injectors in that is the base you have to deal with every day, smoke, mpg, aggressiveness, driveabilty wise.

Just my opinion

Who could that be Bob???

I second that - forget the 275's - go straight to the DDV's/Super Mentals/Etc... . Your gonna get there anyways... I've had my BDII's in for about 8 mo (??) and I'm already thinking I need more...

I did not notice a drop in mileage with the BDII's. My biggest mileage killer was putting 285 BFG Mud Terrains on... .
