ad says new with 5 holes not 4 for $325 for all 6, i searched for info on these units both on the web and here and didn't really find anything, i don't really want to go to 370s from what i've read about smoke and heat and if i had the correct 215s in my truck i wouldn't bother but it has 160s in it from some swap and pray diagnosis by the guy i bought it from, anybody have some good or bad to say about them? do they have the same spray pattern problem as the 370s with the small bowl pistons?

WDixon27,

I had Bosch 300hp injectors in my old truck, look in my sig. I liked them, they ran great as for spry pattern I don't know what to tell you. I dynoed truck with the stock turbo and it produced 306hp/725ftlbs. The egt's were pretty good most I ever seen pulling a 12ka-15ka trailer was 1100 degrees. I have no complaints about them. I was going to put some 370'sa in but someone decided to total out my truck :{.

I was doing the same research as you. What i was able to figure is that they are marine injectors as you know, so the spray pattern is not optimal for our uses but... ... ... look how many run 370s with plenty of reliability and power. Somebody also said they don't smoke as much and something about being able to make more power with them. Don't ask me why because I don't know. I think that is where I will end up very soon as my miles pile on. It comes down to how comfortable you are with the "not perfect" pattern. Let us know what you do and how things turn out.

I agree. There are a whole lot of people on here that run 370's with no problems at all. I'm probably going to get some for the time being because they are a cheap and easy upgrade until I get a Suncoast and can handle some of Jeff Garmon's big EDMs and o-ringed so it can handle twins, etc...

Unless you plan on towing heavy or leaving the marine injectors in for the rest of eternity, I wouldn't worry about them. With what I've seen these engines chew up and spit back out, I'd say spray angles should be the least of your worries.

No problems with my 97 had um on for 3 years now, 75,000mi or so. Good bang for the buck injector. You can tow heavy with them too, just watch your egt's and downshift or back off it if nessesary.

:-laf Sorry, I am running 370's, got off the original subject about the 330's after I read all the posts.
