Anyone have these injectors installed currently on your first gen?If so do you really need to buy the delivery valves?Does it run pretty smooth or rough without the delivery valves? Thanks,

Like Cerb said, only hazes at idle. Once it warms up, nothing. I put in the thin washers . 020. I'm running almost the same turbo too, if it's the one in his sig. Mine gets hot above 3k though, even with the fuel screw backed out.
PODs are great for a cheap upgrade injector, but they're dirty. It's just one of those things.![]()
New Era lists 370's for $425 I think. I see POD's for around $440 on most of the sites I go to. What makes the POD's more popular than the 370's? I'm guessing the insane amounts of smoke...
I vote for POD's. Loads of black smoke if you are heavy on the throttle but then I drove Pete's truck and it does the same thing with 370's so... ... ... ...Just my real world experience there.
The POD's will roll grey smoke when my truck is at a stop light and if I turn the A/C "on" it makes the grey smoke roll through the intersection I'm stopped at. I love it myself. I can't say how the 370's burn when hot. I didn't notice any when I drove Pete's truck, but wasn't watching for haze.
In my world, centered in Northern Ohio, the Amish dump tons of horse poo all over the roads and street, so a dirty injector will not enter into the equasion. If you live in Scottsdale AZ, it WILL be a big problem.
I appreciate all the feed back,I think im gunna go ahead and get the 370's. Thanks again
