I thought I'd pass on my new experience with Bosch wiper blades. Ever since my truck was brand new, I've never had good luck with the wiper blades. It appeared that no matter what blades I used, nothing worked good. At highway speeds, the blades would lift off the windshield a little and not clear the winshield at all. I tried every different blade I could find. Two weeks ago I found a set of Bosch Icon wiper blades at Auto Zone. I gave them a try, and all I can say is that they work perfect!!! I thought I'd never find a good blade.

Just thought I would pass this along in case anyone else was having bad luck with wiper blades.

I bought the same set for my truck, and have the exact same results. Kinda pricey, but worth it IMHO. Best set of blades I've ever had. :)

I've tried other Bosch blades that did not work so great. The Bosch Icons that I'm talking about bend to the windshield contour with spring pressure. They were expensive, but no other blade works.

I've had my ICONs on for more than a year and they still work really good.

The only thing I've found is that you have to really clean the blade at least once every three months. Mine gets a buildup on the blades and if not cleaned, they don't work right.

Other than that, the ICONs have worked better and lasted longer than any other types I have ever used.

The regular bosch ones are good for about a month then start streaking especially if you clear frost off the windshield with them. . Will give the Icon's a shot... .

About an hour ago I priced the Bosch Icons: $23. 99 EACH at Auto Zone, and $22. 99 EACH at Pep Boys. With sales tax, that's $49. 54 for a pair! Anyone know of any place that's less expensive?

If you compare the Bosch blades and the Valeo blades in the links provided, you will notice that both blades are virtually identical.

The Valeo's are less than $8 each at Sam's Club. I have noticed that not all Sam's carry them.

I bought the Inovations from car quest for $40 and change. The best d---wiper blade I ever had period.

To clean the windshield I use any window cleaning agent and newspaper. Then about once a month I use Mothers chrome polish to keep them from getting all stained up. This has worked for me for a loooooong time.

I have the Bosch Icons now which I have had for close to a year. I just bought a set of Michelin Radius at Walmart which look almost the same for $13. 88 each. I have a set of the Michelins Radius on my other car and they work great.
