I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this dealership because my parents are thinking of purchasing a truck soon. Any comments would be appreciated.
If that is Bossier Chrysler/Dodge in Bryan Texas then they are good people.
Now let me qualify that statement. They preformed work on my 1991 Dodge W250 and did great work in a reasonable timeframe. I was from out of town; they worked me in on my schedule and did it while I waited.
I drove a 2003 2500 QC SB 4x4 ISB-e three weeks back and thought real hard about trading my 2001 for it. If I had driven and not flown out there then i would most likely be driving a 2003!
If you want more information then PM me with a telephone number and I will call you back.
Is that the one that sells trucks to TDR members at invoice? Can't remember right now, but I got mine from Henson in Madisonville, just south of there. They are a VERY well respected dealer.
Bossier Country is better than good..... they are AWESOME! They are TDR friendly and a number of our members have bought trucks from them. Johnny Bennette is the General Sales Mangler and his wife Deanna is one of the top salespersons. Call Deanna("Giggles") and tell her I asked you to call or tell her you are a TDR member and I promise you that your truck buying experience with them will be fun. I bought a 2000/3500 and a 2001/2500 from them and sent I don't know how many TDR members and many of my customers to them and not ONE complaint!
Ask them about their "Courtesy Delivery" program. It ROCKS! You can all them at 1 800 BOSSIER or -- email address removed --
i was referred to bossier country by barry... the best place to buy. deanna made everything run smooth and we did it all over the phone... highly recommended
He is right! You do it all over the phone and when you get there to pick up your truck, it is sitting right out front and full of fuel. 20 minutes to sign the paperwork and you are out of there! AND, the deal is always just like they said it would be. Try it, you'll like it!
Thanks for the feedback. I decided to give them a call and see what they can do for my parents. Deanna wasn't available when I called but Jim quoted me 37000 with farm burea credit That price is for a fully loaded 2003 Ram Quad Cab 4x4 3500 SRW. Now if I can get them to throw in some wheel liners and see what payments are gonna be
37k sounds high. Take the sticker price take off 10. 5% and this will give you invoice on the truck. I wouldn't pay any more than that. then get all the discounts you can, farm bureau is like 500 haveing a business is worth another 300.
Yeah, the 10. 5% is at least what you should get off of the sticker. I just paid 32. 8K driveout for a 3500 SLT SRW auto with a number of goodies added on from Weisner in Tomball, Tx. , one of the first single rear wheel trucks they have sold off the lot. It was the second Cummins I bought from them, and I'm not known for dealer loyalty. I go for the bottom line.
which equates to a $734. 00 price difference using the 10. 5% figure.
Not to bad of a price thats for sure because most of the dealers around here wanted 42,720 plus $2000-$5000 dealer markup. The only thing that kinda sucks is my parents have decided to wait another year to get a truck because of the current condition of the economy.
